Fill today : A new Start

I had my fill today . I was very anxious . My doctor, I do love him to death . He's so nice and understanding. I have no idea how he puts up with everyone like me !
He asked me where I had been ? How much weight I had gained......
DRUM ROLL PEOPLE .... 45 pounds ....................................................
Have you picked your self up off the floor ? Yeah I had to too !
He was very reassuring to me. I told him I had been having some medical issues, we went over them. He told me he wished I had been in earlier.
I told him i felt like i was starting over , he reassured me that I had done this once I can do this again . He's right .

His protocol for post fills is 3 days clear liquids, 3 days liquids, 3 days mushies and 3 days semi solids ( or solids if you feel up to it ) so that's going to be rough. When I use to do it for fills before it was not a big deal , but not having done it for a year, I think it might be rough . We shall see.

Fill tomorrow filled w/ anxiety

I have an appointment tomorrow for my first fill in a year ! Actually over a year. I am very nervous, anxious and worried. Since my stomach issues have not been 100% resolved I am not even sure my doc will give me a fill ( although fairly certain he will ) However, I still worry about getting this fill.
What if I slip my band again ? Im fairly certain if I do i'll lose my band.
Mostly I have to start over again . Over eating the "band" way , over as if I just got my band.

Not to say that is not a good thing. I do need that. Obviously I cant do it with a fill or with out the band Or I could not be sitting here 30 or 40 lbs heavier. But its a scary prospect to start over again .

My docs protocol has always been 2 days clear liquids 2 days liquids 2 days mushies 2 days semi solids after all fills anyway . So i have to go that route as well . Before when I was getting fills on a regular basis , no big deal but after not doing it in nearly 2 yrs really , it makes me anxious !

Luckily my friend is going w/ me to my appointment, she's a patient of my doc as well. But its all very anxiety ridden .

Laser Hair Treatment #6

I just did my 6th Laser hair treatment with my Silk N SenseEpil laser hair removal . I have noticed ( by mistake I might add) that I have not had to shave my under arms as often as normal. Normally I have to shaver everyday , my under arms I could get away with every other. But I would say now I can go several days with out shaving them and they are fine.

I have gone for 2 days now with out shaving my chin, which is AMAZING for me !
I will try to take some more pictures this week . To show the differences after say one or 2 days of not shaving.

I did use level 4 on the laser and not as much discomfort this time as last time in some sensitive area's .

So I am encouraged by the results so far.

Why didnt I move my A$$ more ? My ONE Regret w/ the Band !

A friend of mine contacted me today about lap band. She's having a consult next week for hers. So I was going back and re reading some of my old blog posts. I really needed to read some of them right now .
I go Thursday for my fill . Its been over a year since I have been unfilled and close to 40 pounds gained. WHY ?

I would say the ONE THING I Screwed up on and one thing i regret about the band is not moving more, not getting on a regular exercise routine from the get go . I KNEW if something were to happen to my band, it slipped, needed to be removed I would HAVE to have a plan to at least help keep the weight off. I did not though, I did not move , I did not work out . I made the mistake of thinking that being more active would be enough .

Guess what folks ? I am here to say I was wrong and here to show you 40lbs heavier wrong !

I will say this , I HOPE this fill can give me another shot at it .
I Plan to start over. I hope this is the beauty of the band. That I CAN Start over !
This is what I have always thought was the good part about the band. NOW I WILL SEE !

Laser Hair Treatment #5

I did another Laser Hair removal treatment Saturday with the Silk N SenseEpil machine .
I will take another picture tomorrow morning.
This time I put the laser on Level 4 I guess you would call it . This level was a bit more painful, and i use that work loosely . I did my upper lip, chin , under arms and bikini area.
Once again the bend on my under arm stung pretty bad but nothing un bearable.

As far as growth goes ... I can see some progress I think. I noticed this morning that If I did not want to I probably did not need to shave. I did because I am so self conscious about it but I bet it would not have been noticeable to someone else. That in it self is improvement to me !

So I am defiantly excited about this for sure !

Im going ....

In for a fill next Thursday . I am SOOOOOO ready for one too y'all ! Im a little worried after I tell him about all the issues I have been having that he may not want to give me a fill . But we shall see.
A friend/ fellow patient of Dr Rincon is going with me for her fill as well.
Lets hope he doesn't freak when he see's how much weight I have gained !
