My Baby Has a Girlfriend ?

What ? Yeah ! I found out last week my 16 yr old son has a GIRLFRIEND !!! WTF ?
First off ok I need to be eased into things. He just started driving in July , Ok no biggie, except he really had not interest in driving many places ! WHEWW !! OK I Know it was not going to last LONG but i can hope and enjoy it while i can !!! So the one or two times he DID Go somewhere I freaked ! But Ok that's what mom's do right ? I did ok . THEN Basically the next week , he tells me " you know those home coming mum things ( this is the NIGHT Before homecoming BTW) ya think i should get one of those for my girlfriend ? " Ok , FIRST OFF YES , Second WHEN THE HELL Did you get a GIRL FRIEND. NOW , do not get me wrong , she's a sweet girl ( so it seems now lol)
Very cute , seems very nice, very polite . I like her ( Lucky for her LOL) But To go from driving, to going out on a date to finding out a girlfriend in basically the same week , THAT is enough to down a mom !
Im still getting use to this whole thing. Doing ok with it. But I have to tell ya . It scares the living SHIT Out of me . My son is the same age I was when i got pregnant w/ him !!
Do ya'll have ANY IDEA how freaky that is ? OMG .. I need more antidepressants for this !!

NOW do not get me wrong he is a good kid, So far he's a great kid, polite, respectful. He even asked the girl friends parents permission to take her out .
But I just need time to adjust to all this . LOL
So excuse my RANT !!!!

That would be how many points my son scored tonight at the game !! They played my old high school. This game was rescheduled from last week due to the hurricanes. So my son goes out for a pass, he's a tight end and defensive end. He's in the end zone, its a little off to the right a little , he dives for the pass and its CAUGHT !!! SO AWESOME . His first TOUCHDOWN !!!
He was so proud , as was I . But my big mouth was yacking to another mom and did not get his TD on video tape ! FIGURES . That's what i get . He's gonna be hot stuff on campus tomorrow. The game ended w/ a score of 6-0 so the only points scored were his !!
How awesome is that. SO PROUD OF HIM !!!!

SO, Lap Band doesnt work huh ???

I get this call from my dad today " Hey can you come over to the shop real quick" I said yeah sure . So i go over there and he introduces me to this lady , she asks me some questions about the lap band. Says " How much have you lost" I told her . Asks if i have had any issues ,I said no, told her about my fill issues, being sensitive to them that was it as far as "issues" go . She tells me " Well you look great I have lost 50 pds on my own " I told her that was awesome. So I leave.
I asked my dad at the game " was that lady interested in the lap band is that why you had me come over ' He said' LOL NO Actually she was running her mouth saying Lap band doesn't work , she know's someone who had it and it does not work blah blah that people always have issues when they have it and you can ONLY lose weight the " RIGHT" WAY , so I Told her REALLY My daughter has lost over 100lbs w/ the lap band and she said YEAH RIGHT " So that's when he called me to come over . He said' It pretty much shut her up as soon as you got out of the truck !!!!
That might have explained her eyes popping out of her head when i got out of the truck !!
Priceless I tell ya'll it was PRICELESS !!

Cooler Weather Brings Smaller Clothes !

So a "cool" front came in to Texas today High today was around 71 . NICE NICE weather. HOWEVER I realized , I have no "warm" clothes . My mom got me a Old Navy gift card for my bday , I was going to wait to use it . But I had no jeans , and my shirts are all mostly sleevless.
SO I decided to go check out old navy . I tried on a Small Shirt, It WOULD have fit EXCEPT For my damn muffin top . I hate this excess skin around my waist. I'll be glad when I can begin some plastic surgery , but that's a while down the line.
So I got a MEDIUM TOP !!! YIPPIE.
BUT The BEST PART. I Tried on a 10 jeans, TOO BIG . I even yelled SHUT THE HELL UP in the dressing room . The guy asked" Are you ok " LOL I laughed and said yes im just fine . I went and got the 8's THEY FIT !! At old navy , that's like a size 6 !! SHIT am I really a size 8 ??
Someone on my band buds group called me TINY !!! HUH ? ME ? She's talking to someone else im sure.

OH So Good !

Well after my last post yesterday I was telling my hubby about how i was feeling and I think he realized I was not eating much .
I spoke to some other bandsters and they said they can get like this w/ a good fill.
I have had good restriction before , this fill might at first been a little too tight for ME , it was not too tight but i normally do not like to be tight to the point that im full after 4 or 5 bites, that's unnerving to me. But this fill was like that at first, It not so much now .
So with that and the stress i have been under I felt "Ok" that this was normal .

Anyway , hubby decided he needed to get me out of the house and take me to eat . So we went to chili's , i ordered fajitas , to my surprise i ate about 5 shrimp ( No tortillas ) w/ the cheese, veggies , sour cream, guacamole ect , and 2 strips of steak . that's quite a lot for me right now .
But it was good, i had not eaten all day long except a bolt house shake earlier in the day .

So that felt good to get some good food in . I need to just eat when i do not feel like it .
I guess I am just not really hungry ? I dunno , sort of an odd feeling now ? A former ( HA feels good to say FORMER ) Fat person NOT Hungry !!

Too much effort to eat ?

OK , So im under alot of stress right now . Business stuff, work stuff.
And I sort of feel like Eating , requires too much effort . I am not eating around my band which can be done, if you do not know what that is , that's eating things that go through the band easy , protein shakes, mashed potatoes, ect usually things that are not very good for you .
I am not doing that ( I think i was a week or so ago and I realized I was doing it and snapped out of it ) but I just do not feel like eating right now .
Back in the skinny days if i got stressed/depressed I would not eat much . Maybe im reverting back to that ? Maybe its the heat ? I dont know .
I just feel like that preparing Good quality meals like i normally eat right now is just too much effort and just do not feel like it ?
I think maybe i need to spend a day cooking and freeze some meals so i can just re heat them ?
Its very easy to eat around the band like this .

How Fickle can this thing be ?

I got a fill on the 25th , Thank GOODNESS. Dr R wanted to put in .60cc's which put me back up t 2cc's , I was a little hesitant , from the past of being tight and too tight i wanted just .25cc's .
He said 'YOUR FINE you did not have issues until 2.3cc's or so last time " So I said OK do.60ccs. SO i was working my way up to the mushy stage and I got stuck on MASHED Potatoes that i made at home. SO i went on liquids for a day or so . Ate some taters i got at Popeye's I was fine , Now off and On im tight ok tight ok . Not sure what the deal is ?
I am stressed out majorly . So that has something to do w/ it . But this band , just when i think i have it figured out it throws me a loop. I do not want to get an unfill if i dont have to but i will.
So far so good the last few days . So we'll see.

Got a foot ball game tonight. I Have a favorite new "band friendly " game food. Instead of Frito pie I get JUST the chili and cheese . Its really good , The people at the concession stand look at me like im crazy when i order that though LOL

Cant wait for the game tonight though my son has done really well this season so far !!!
