Since surgery water intake has been a problem for me . Water tastes nasty by itself. It was a known issue to Gastric Sleeve patients and something i was warned of . So for the first few months I barely drank any water . I was at Home Depot one day and came across this plant
Its a chocolate mint plant. At first I got it because it smelled so good and I was going to use it in my living room as a natural air freshener. Then as I sat and looked at a bowl of lemons on my counter I thought humm I bet that might taste good in water with the lemons. So I dropped both of them in my glass of water and Its so good and so freshening !
The good news is now my 11 yr old son wants to drink it all the time. A friend found a link on pinterest to infused water, which I was doing . but the link had the water in mason jars, which I have a ton of !
So now .. ready made water !
I want to get an infusion pitcher but this will do for now !
Ohhhh! I need to find me one of those plants!!
ReplyDeleteIt was with the herbs at Home depot and It was less than $3. I actually need to go get another couple of them , the one I have cant keep up since i use a couple leaves a day . They had sweet mint, which I will get next and apple mint, which I did not like .
