Last Tuesday
I walked into my bed Room and Angel our cat was next to my bed sitting in a pool of blood. It was coming from her neck.
The tumor in her neck had either ruptured or she tried to get it at it and punctured a whole in her neck .
There was blood all over my bed room , it was BAD ya'll.
My youngest walked in and saw it and FREAKED .
I called my dad over , and he said " I think she is ok she seems like she's not in pain"
And she did seem ok. I thought maybe the release of pressure made her feel better ?
After a while she started having problems it seemed.
I took her into the Emergency Vet and they said they did not think she was in pain , a little uncomfortable but not in pain .
I was going to put her to sleep last night but it was so expensive at the emergency place and they said she was not in pain .
So i decided to wait and see how she was in the am.
The wound is still oozing , So i took her in at 10 am and and she was put to sleep .
But I felt if I waited any longer she would get worse or be in pain . It was one of the worst things I have ever had to do ! We buried her in my parents back yard , so that my youngest can go talk to her when ever he wants, It was important for him to be able to do that.
I wanted to update the situation since I had not been able to .
I'm sorry to hear about your cat. I hope Alex and the rest of the family is doing OK. Funny how you realize how much a pet is part of the family when they aren't there anymore.

Thanks i appreciate. Colton is doing much better now . He seemed to get some closure once we buried Angel .
